Physician Liaison
Location: [Washington - Seattle to Tacoma]
Territory: Local travel required between designated clinic cities
About the Role
The Physician Liaison is responsible for building and maintaining physician referral relationships, particularly within behavioral health, across the Washington region. This role supports the mission to deliver interventional psychiatry and supportive care, alleviating suffering and saving lives.
Responsibilities
- Identify and grow physician referrals through on-site visits, networking events, trade shows, and community functions
- Lead patient-focused community events and maintain relationships with local behavioral health groups
- Monitor competitor activity and share market feedback to improve services
- Develop strategic plans to increase referrals and track referral patterns
- Maintain CRM documentation of visits and relationship activity
- Serve as a point of contact for marketing materials and collaborate across departments
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in marketing or a related field
- Minimum 3 years' experience in marketing or business development with physicians/providers or medical office staff
- Knowledge of the local provider landscape and community groups
- Previous experience in behavioral health preferred
- Outgoing personality with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter with strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Understanding of healthcare regulatory and compliance policies (PHI, HIPAA)
- High integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Must be located within the designated region and willing to travel locally
