Reporting to the Director of Materials Management, this position is responsible for the safe operation of a van, mini-van, truck, or bus to transport employees and volunteers to and from hospital parking lots and buildings. Responsibilities also include delivering and stocking supplies and monitoring of all BID-Needham parking lots. Job Description:Essential Responsibilities: Adheres to all state and federal motor carrier guidelines (including DOT safety regulations) as well as all department and Hospital policies and procedures. Transports employees to and from various satellite parking lots. Picks up and delivers supplies and equipment from each campus and off site locations as needed. Performs routine maintenance as outlined by vehicle's manufacturer and in conjunction with the Director. Brings vehicles to repair shops as directed.
