GIS Specialist - ITS (Prescott)

Under general direction, maintains the Countys GIS data and provides expertise, support, and guidance to County staff and the public. Major Duties, Responsibilities Designs and edits integrated GIS systems and performs complex editing tasks. Generates hard copy specialty maps and GIS data requests as needed by the public, county GIS partners, or county employees. Compiles, integrates, and analyzes spatial and non-spatial data from multiple sources. Works closely with end users to identify GIS requirements, technical issues, and solutions using research and analytical skills. Provides technical assistance to GIS users and assists in the maintenance of GIS data using standards as provided by the GIS Department. Installs, tests, troubleshoots, and assists in evaluating GIS application software. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
