This is a regular student tutor position which serves as the Humanities Tutor and provides in-person academic tutoring to students while maintaining an effective and positive learning environment. Hours per Week 8 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 8 am-5 pm. College/ Department Overview College of Liberal Arts, Department of Humanities and Philosophy. Department Specific Job Functions The Humanities Tutor will assist UCO students with Core Requirement courses taught in the department including HUM 2113 General Humanities: Ancient to Medieval, and HUM 2223 General Humanities: Renaissance to Modern. Tutors will be expected to attend some classes for the courses they tutor and introduce themselves. Tutors are required to attend regular meetings with faculty tutor supervisor. Enrollment Requirements Fall/ Spring Semesters: All student employees must be enrolled at least half-time to be eligible to work any UCO student position.
