Our client, a respected manufacturer in the Montague, MI area, is seeking an experienced Controls Engineer to lead industrial automation projects from initial concept through successful implementation. This direct hire position offers the opportunity to work on both new equipment builds and enhancements to existing systems, playing a key role in improving production efficiency, quality, and reliability. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and leverage cutting-edge automation technology to ensure systems meet rigorous safety and performance standards. Key Responsibilities. Design controls systems for automated assembly cells using E-plan software. Program PLCs, HM - Is, data collection, and other automation systems for both new and modified equipment.
