Under supervision, assists in performing inspections, interviews, and technical reviews for an environmental health program in a public health department. Assists in investigating complaints and recommending enforcement action as necessary. Job Responsibilities Will provide inspection, permitting, consultation for compliance of state rules and regulations for the Clayton County Environmental Health Programs for the following facilities within the county: Food Service, Public Swimming Pools, Tourist Accommodations, and Body Art. In addition, the person hired for this position will provide services within the Wastewater Management, Emergency Preparedness, and other environmental health programs as well as investigate all assigned health-related complaints received and assigned. Salary will be adjusted based on prior DPH Environmental Health experience and degree of education, as applicable.
