The Mortgage Loan Processor II processes mortgage loans from application to closing. This position complies with all legal and regulatory guidelines related to the mortgage loan industry. The Mortgage Loan Processor II improves customer service by processing all loans in a timely manner. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Answer incoming phone calls and answer customer questions regarding mortgage loans in general or specific to a borrower's loan in process. This duty is performed daily, about 25% of the time. 2. Process FHA, VA, Conventional, Bond and RD loans after application, which includes, but not limited to, processing various types of verifications, pulling credit report, ordering appraisals, ordering title work, running loans through an automated system, pulling flood certificates, getting loan files ready and submitting them to underwriting, following up with underwriting and clearing all underwriting conditions.
