Description Of WorkThis position as a Clerk Typist 1 will give you the opportunity to expand and increase your clerical knowledge and skills. Your duties will include typing, filing and retrieving documents generated from professional casework staff or supervisors. Our ideal candidate will be proficient in processing and entering data into the agency database. Your interpersonal and organizational skills will be key as you answer incoming phone calls and provide reception coverage as needed. Work Schedule And Additional InformationFull-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position. Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. Required Experience, Training & Eligibility QualificationsMinimum Experience and Training Requirements: Possession of the required knowledges, skills, and abilities. Other Requirements: You must meet the PA residency requirement. Hiring preference for this vacancy may be given to candidates who live within Cambria County. If no eligible candidates who live within Cambria County apply for this position, candidates who reside in other counties may be considered. You must be able to perform essential job functions. Legal Requirements: A conditional offer of employment will require a medical exam and drug screening. This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law. Under the Law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.
