CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGERLocation: Willowbrook, ILJob type: Permanent / Full-TimePay: $125,000 - $200,000 annuallyThe Construction Project Manager is responsible for the overall performance, organization, and execution of construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards. This role includes planning, directing, coordinating, and budgeting activities—often through an estimator and foremen—and serving as the primary liaison with clients. The Project Manager will oversee all project phases, from conceptual development through final completion, while leading teams, managing resources, and ensuring client satisfaction.RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Champion safety and act as a safety leader on all assigned projects
  • Oversee conceptual development, organization, scheduling, and implementation of construction projects
  • Review project scope, schedule, costs, deliverables, and plans/specifications for potential efficiencies or issues
  • Develop detailed work plans, allocate resources, and create schedules to meet contractual requirements
  • Coordinate and direct work of subcontractors, vendors, and project staff
  • Serve as the primary liaison with clients and facilitate project activities and meetings
  • Monitor progress, quality, and compliance with safety and contractual obligations
  • Negotiate agreements, obtain permits/licenses, and manage contracts
  • Handle project financials including budgeting, cost tracking, invoicing, and profitability analysis
  • Administer submittals, RFIs, change orders, and job cost revisions
  • Lead and mentor project teams, including superintendents, coordinators, engineers, and subcontractors
  • Resolve issues, mitigate risks, and maintain customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle
  • Prepare and deliver regular project updates, reports, and documentation
REQUIREMENTS
  • BS degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field preferred
  • Strong project management fundamentals and leadership skills
  • Experience managing mission-critical construction projects
  • Supervisory and human resources management experience
  • Knowledge of construction management processes, methods, safety standards, and quality controls
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Primavera, Accubid, and Blue Beam preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with minimal supervision
