As a General Manager, you will lead all food and beverage operations at a vibrant camp that inspires children with serious medical conditions to engage in experiences beyond their expectations. Join a dedicated team to provide exceptional hospitality in an environment where limitations fade, allowing kids to focus on fun and adventure!

Located on a beautiful 84-acre site in Randleman, North Carolina, near Greensboro, you will be part of a magical mission. Your role will involve:

  • Establishing and maintaining operational systems for food handling, from ordering to serving, while overseeing menu planning and development.
  • Developing operational forecasts and managing accounting functions.
  • Ensuring the highest standards of sanitation and safety are met.
  • Coordinating unit personnel for production, quality control, and employee training.
  • Recruiting and nurturing a committed front-line team.
  • Conducting period inventory checks and maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Building positive relationships with clients and effectively managing customer interactions.
  • Identifying opportunities for new products and services that enhance client retention and drive sales growth.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead a team dedicated to providing top-tier operational services while actively managing day-to-day operations.
  • Foster client and community relationships, continuously evaluating operations to enhance service quality and satisfaction.
  • Build and develop a capable management team to achieve organizational goals.
  • Analyze operational needs and recommend methods for service improvement and growth.
  • Collaborate with Finance to manage budgets, focusing on optimizing financial outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Uphold Aramark's operational standards and business conduct policies.

To succeed in this leadership position, you should have:

  • A Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) credential or relevant nutrition background preferred.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Food Service, Hospitality, Facilities, or Business Management.
  • Strong focus on client services and the ability to foster a growing business.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with clients and management.
  • Experience in the service industry, particularly in hospitality or contract services.
  • A proven track record of leading teams and managing budgets and financial controls.
  • Skills in crafting and implementing product sales strategies.

Note: This role may involve physical demands, such as lifting, bending, and prolonged walking or standing. Uniforms and personal protective equipment (PPE) may also be required.
