The Juliette Gordon Low Birthplace Museum is seeking to hire a full-time (hourly) Museum Lead Guide to work as a lead tour guide, troop activities leader, and visitor assistant. By sharing the fascinating story of Juliette Low and the Movement she founded at the height of the Progressive Era, the dedicated staff of the Juliette Gordon Low Birthplace support the GSUSA mission to build girls of courage, confidence, and character to make the world a better place. Primary duties of the position:As a full-time Museum Lead Guide at the Birthplace, you will: Research and develop your own tour and programs based on training and materials provided Lead visitors of diverse ages, backgrounds, and abilities in engaging museum tours. Lead Girl Scout troops in hands-on activities that connect the past to the present. Fill in as needed at the front desk or shop selling tickets and assisting visitors on site.
