Reporting to the Supervisor, serves as the Agency's Youth in Care point of contact as required per ESSA; reviews and approves federal and state grant applications; serves as the Agency's point of contact on suicide prevention and substance abuse and prevention.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serves as the foster care point of contact for the Agency.
- Provides technical assistance internally and externally on foster care.
- Works cross-departmentally to approve foster care plans as required by state and federal law.
- Assists program staff in the review and approval of federal and state grant programs for competitive and formula grant opportunities.
- Ensures compliance with legislation and reporting requirements.
- Works collaboratively with other team members to support work related to substance abuse and prevention.
- Works collaboratively with internal and external groups to develop and disseminate resources.
- Ensures compliance to mandates related to suicide and substance abuse.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Education, Social Work, School Psychology, School Counseling, School Nursing or Mental Health, or, a Bachelor's degree in one of the listed fields plus two years of relevant professional experience. (COPY OF TRANSCRIPTS REQUIRED AT TIME OF APPLICATION)
- Two years of experience (in addition to education requirements) in school-based or school-linked wellness services or programs.
- Two years of experience in coordinating projects and training.
- Ability to conceptualize, design, conduct or collaborate in the conduct of highly complex policy related projects/studies.
- Demonstrated ability to define and solve complex problems.
- Ability to effectively present complex information to various audiences in writing and formal/informal presentations.
- Ability to work with others in a collaborative approach.

Anticipated Starting Salary Range: $62,449 - $78,917
Full Salary Range: $62,449 - $106,278
Office Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
