An internal auditor's role is to evaluate and improve a company's operations and risk management processes. They do this by conducting audits, analyzing data, identifying potential risks, and providing recommendations for improvement. The internal auditor conducts ISO 9001, ISO 20000-1, and ISO 270001 audits for all certified areas, or areas seeking certification, as compliant to the elements of the ISO management system standards.
This position is full-time (40-hours/week) Monday-Friday in a typical office environment. You will work an 8-hour shift scheduled during our normal business hours 8:00am-5:00pm. It may be necessary, given the business needs to work occasional overtime. This position will work out of the 12377 Merit Dr. Dallas, TX location.
What You'll Do:Bachelor's Degree Equivalency: 4 years job related work experience or Associate's and 2 years job related work experience
Specialized Training: ISO 9001 quality management system standard auditor training.
Required Work Experience:Must be organized and be able to multi-task. Must be capable of performing process audits. Must have excellent communication and written skills and be able to work well under pressure. Required Software and Tools: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Preferred Work Experience:Process measurement and management, facilitation, and team skills all a plus. Preferred Software and Other Tools: Working knowledge of Visio and Compliance 360 software. Preferred Licenses and Certificates: American Society for Quality Certified Quality Auditor or equivalent.
Work Environment:Much of the work is done in a team environment. Focus and emphasis on improvement.
