The District Manager oversees Branch, Administrative, Operating, and Sales associates to ensure top-line growth, EBITDA performance, and operational excellence. Responsible for full Profit and Loss (P&L) management, the District Manager executes plans to exceed customer needs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading sales force for organic growth, managing key customer accounts as needed.
  • Optimizing branch assets for speed to market and executing Core Strategy I and II activities.
  • Ensuring high fulfillment levels and sales associate training, focusing on SAP proficiency.
  • Controlling operational expenses, realizing strategic pricing targets, and supporting customer transitions to the Total Access (TA) sales program.
  • Fostering collaboration, teamwork, and communication within the District.
  • Maintaining a safe environment at all Airgas facilities and undertaking assigned projects/initiatives.
Are You a Match?

Required qualifications include:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Sales Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum three (3) years of B2B sales-related or sales operations experience, including team management and P&L responsibility in distribution.
  • Track record of achieving profitable sales growth and strong leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of business and accounting concepts, including ROI, P&L statements, and margin responsibilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence others effectively.
  • Proficiency in SAP and other relevant software applications.
  • Ability to analyze business opportunities and develop successful sales strategies.
