Position Summary
Under guidance, directs, plans, and executes ongoing clinical quality improvement projects designed to achieve goals in patient safety and clinical quality.
Job Responsibilities
Education
Bachelor's of Science Degree in Nursing or related field
Experience
Master's degree preferred. Current NYS licensure/certification relevant to role is required. Approximately 5 years of experience in clinical quality program coordination including quality measurement techniques and report writing Approximately 2 years of project management experience. Approximately 2 years of experience with registration and billing systems. Approximately 2 years of experience with an ambulatory or hospital clinical information systems.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels of an institution.
Licenses and Certifications
Current NYS licensure/certification relevant to role is required.
