Trader Position

Trader positions offered by Citadel Americas Services LLC (New York, New York). Conduct in-depth economic analyses of interest rates to support the development of the execution team's broader economic strategy. Perform macroeconomic research to interpret and forecast financial market trends while simultaneously compiling, analyzing, and reporting data to gain an understanding of global interest rates, FX, futures, credit, ETF, and options markets. Utilize complex, quantitative mathematical and statistical techniques to develop the economic tools necessary to perform pre- and post-trade transaction cost analyses. Aggregate and summarize relevant flow colors and maintain strategic relationship with sell-side counterparties. Develop economic models and construct in-depth quantitative company models to reduce the risk of errors and or settlement issues. Develop a refined analytical skillset to effectively liaise with the operations team to ensure correct and timely trade booking and confirmation. Work with mathematicians, economists, financial analysts, and other investment professionals to formulate recommendations, policies, and action plans to improve the quality and execution of economic strategies. Identify and analyze relevant industry data and metrics. Conduct quantitative research and statistical analyses to evaluate the economy of financial markets.

Minimum Requirements: Requires a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related degree and 5 years of experience in a market facing role, including buy side or sell side trader, sales, quantitative strategist, or risk analyst. Education, training, or experience must include: Utilizing mathematical modeling and statistical techniques to analyze the economic and financial implications of economy policy, data, and market movements; Building aggregate macroeconomic views and surveys to evaluate the quality of external macroeconomic data projections and forecasts; Coding in Python or similar language for data analysis; and Pre-trade, intra-trade, and post-trade analysis. Experience may be, but need not be, acquired concurrently.

We are offering a salary range of $190,000 to $230,000 per year.
