Akkodis is seeking an Assembler - 2nd Shift for a Contract job with a client in Alpharetta, GA . Responsibilities include performing skilled hand soldering and cable harnessing and setting up and adjusting equipment to meet precise tolerances. Rate Range: $25/hour to $28/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Assembler - 2nd Shift job responsibilities include:
- Perform electronic and electro-mechanical assembly operations, including wiring, hand soldering, and cable harnessing, following technical specifications and blueprints.
- Set up and adjust production equipment to maintain tolerances and ensure product quality.
- Interpret and follow assembly documentation, such as work instructions, schematics, and bills of materials.
- Inspect assembled components for defects and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Collaborate with team members and provide support in troubleshooting and process improvements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and operational guidelines.
Desired Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, or 2 years with an associate's degree.
- Proficiency in electro-mechanical assembly, including hand soldering, wiring, and cable harnessing.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications, blueprints, and follow detailed assembly procedures with minimal supervision.
