️ About the Role
We're looking for a driven and detail-orientedIntermediate Mechanical Engineerto join a collaborative team of architects and engineers working on innovative building systems. In this role, you'll support projects from concept through construction, applying your technical expertise to HVAC design, load calculations, and equipment sizing.
You'll work closely with the Engineering Principal and Project Engineer, managing multiple projects while ensuring compliance with mechanical and building codes. If you're ready to grow your career in a dynamic, hybrid work environment—this is your opportunity.
️ Key Responsibilities
Manage multiple projects simultaneously with clear internal communication.
Perform mechanical load calculations and equipment sizing.
Prepare mechanical drawings, piping diagrams, plans, and schedules.
Conduct site surveys and review shop drawings for accuracy.
Apply knowledge of mechanical systems and building codes throughout project phases.
What You Bring
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME).
3+ years of experience in HVAC design and mechanical engineering.
Proficiency inAutoCADand expert-levelRevitskills.
Strong foundation in mechanical design, drafting, and code compliance.
EIT certification preferred.
Willingness to travel occasionally for out-of-state projects.
Work Environment
Hybrid Schedule: Work from home on Fridays.
Office located in Midtown Manhattan, across from the NY Public Library.
Collaborative studio with 15–20 team members, including architects, engineers, and principals.
Face-to-face collaboration encouraged for creative problem-solving and mentorship.
