CNA or Medical Assistant - Full-Time Location: Silverdale, WA / Gig Harbor, WA Company: Peninsula Pain Clinic Peninsula Pain Clinic, the leading provider of pain management services in the Olympic and Kitsap Peninsula region, is seeking a reliable and motivated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Medical Assistant to join our team. This is a float position between our Silverdale and Gig Harbor locations. For over 20 years, we've provided compassionate, high-quality care that improves the lives of patients living with chronic pain. Join our supportive, professional environment where your work makes a daily impact. Key Responsibilities:
  • This role involves working alongside a provider in the clinic to support patient care, assist with procedures, and help ensure smooth day-to-day clinical operations.
  • Prepare patients for examination by taking vital signs, documenting medical history, and reviewing current medications.
  • Assist providers during exams and minor procedures.
  • Collect and prepare laboratory specimens
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
  • Answer phones, respond to patient inquiries, and route messages appropriately.
  • Schedule patient appointments and follow-up visits.
  • Process referrals, prior authorizations, and prescription refill requests.

Work Schedule:
  • Mon-Thu: 7:45 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Fri: 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Qualifications:
  • 1+ year of experience in a medical setting preferred
  • Must be able to travel between Silverdale and Gig Harbor offices
  • Reliable, professional, and a strong team player
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient with EMR systems and general computer use
