Job Description & RequirementsJob Summary:Under direct supervision by laboratory technologist, leader and/or supervisor, and according to defined protocols, performs select procedures on blood and/or other body fluids or specimens, involving manual techniques or the use of laboratory instruments and information systems. May perform phlebotomy as needed.Required Skills & Experience:-Ability to communicate effectively with others.-Demonstrated technical proficiency and theoretical knowledge sufficient to perform laboratory functions.Minimum Experience: 3 - years of experienceCertifications:BLSMLT is plusTechnology:Epic, Sunquest CoPathPlush (LIS)Required Education:-Completion of an Associate Degree Program in Medical Laboratory Technology or Laboratory Science.Required Certification & Licensure:-Certification from a recognized national certifying agency (ASCP or NCA).
