The CT Technologist is responsible for performing computed tomography diagnostic imaging procedures on patients in a safe and efficient manner. The technologist ensures high-quality images, adheres to radiation safety standards, and delivers compassionate patient care throughout the imaging process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform CT scans as ordered by physicians, ensuring the use of proper protocols and techniques.
• Prepare and position patients accurately for imaging procedures.
• Administer contrast agents under physician supervision, when necessary.
• Operate CT scanner and other imaging equipment in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
• Monitor patient during procedures for any adverse reactions and provide immediate care if needed.
• Verify patient identification and maintain accurate documentation.
• Maintain and calibrate CT equipment regularly; report malfunctions promptly.

At least 1 year of acute experience required - ARRT is required - NYSDOH Rad Tech license required - Shift: 12:00 AM-8:00 AMA valid license as a radiologic technologist, nuclear medicine technologist or in radiation therapy issued by the NYSDOH and post primary certification in computed tomography issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required.
