Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced and dedicated MRI Technologist for a travel assignment in Ruidoso, New Mexico. The ideal candidate will demonstrate high-level technical and patient care skills while providing exceptional MRI imaging services in a fast-paced environment. This position is perfect for techs who thrive in dynamic healthcare settings and enjoy delivering quality care to diverse patient populations.

Responsibilities:

• Instruct and prepare patients for MRI procedures, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the scan.
• Position and manipulate patients to obtain accurate diagnostic images.
• Select and calibrate appropriate imaging techniques, consoles, and peripheral hardware.
• Acquire images, produce films, maintain backups and transfer files to storage media.
• Inspect exams for image quality and completeness.
• Perform quality assurance checks on MRI equipment and laser camera.
• Manage physical inventories and maintain necessary clinical supplies.
• Adhere to established PHS/PMG and department policies, safety standards, quality assurance protocols, HIPAA guidelines, and compliance regulations.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of MRI Technologist experience.
• At least one previous 13-week travel assignment preferred.
• Must be a team player, flexible, and comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced setting.

Preferred Skills:

• EPIC EMR experience (on-site training provided if needed).

Certifications:

• ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification preferred.
• BLS Certification (American Heart Association).
