The Salvation Army Position Description Kankakee, IL Position Title: Community Resource Specialist Job Summary: Be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, inform and guide visitors to the appropriate Salvation Army resource or services. Provide Community support along with distribution of Food to local residents. Ensure regular pickups from local community partners are managed and complete to stock the Pantry as needed. Maintain building cleanliness and overall presence to visitors and guests. Reports To: Social Services Director Pay Grade: 202 Pay Range: $15.75 -$18.90 Hourly Qualifications: Candidates must have a passion for fulfilling the mission of The Salvation Army and must be articulate in presenting the same to others.
