Shop Operations Coordinator

Optimized Process Designs, LLC is seeking a Shop Operations Coordinator. The Shop Operations Coordinator will be responsible for developing analytical tools to identify common gaps and develop solutions for process improvement. This role will be in Katy, TX.

Optimized Process Designs, LLC (OPD) is an engineering/construction company headquartered in Katy, TX with an expertise in the natural gas, natural gas liquids, and petrochemical industries.   • Document instances of non-conformance involving modular components to prevent re-occurrence of quality deficiencies.
  • Partner with Production Department to ensure timely delivery of fabricated materials and make schedule adjustments as needed.
  • Develop analytic tools to identify common gaps and develop solutions for process improvement.
  • Maintain the shop assembly schedule.
  • Help track incoming materials (pipe, valves, steel)
  • Assist the QA/QC group in various tasks as needed.
  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment and improving processes.
  • Basic Computer Skills - able to use Outlook, Microsoft Word and Teams for emails and meetings.
  • Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate with both internal and external customers.
