We're seeking a Systems Engineering Associate Manager within the Advanced Strategic Programs (ASP) mission area, supporting the Mk21A Systems Engineering team in King of Prussia, PA. The position will provide technical direction, planning, and staffing support, in addition to the management of Project Engineering resources for the Mk21A Program. Responsibilities include oversight and guidance of a Systems Engineering team, encompassing the entire System Engineering life cycle, from architecture and requirements development through weapons system operations and sustainment. This position will require functional leadership and demonstrated LM Full Spectrum Leadership qualities.

Basic Qualifications
  • Systems Engineering process knowledge or experience, and complete lifecycle experience with Engineering processes and reviews
  • Cost Account Manager (CAM) Experience; understanding and experience with Earned Value Management
  • Experience developing BOEs and executing cost and schedule baselines
  • Demonstrated Project Management and/or leadership skills
  • Active Secret Clearance
Desired Skills
  • Experience with systems engineering related to missile systems and/or associated avionics
  • Experience with US Air Force Weapon Systems Programs
  • Ability to build strong relationships with program internal and external customers, lead multi-functional teams and build consensus among peers
  • Ability to drive closure and resolve complex programmatic issues
  • Recognized as an authority in systems thinking techniques with the demonstrated ability to apply them to a wide range of complex problems and train others in their application
  • Active Top Secret Clearance

This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
