Definition:Program Teachers are responsible for planning, implementing, and supervising educational programs for a group of children. Achieving academic excellence requires that the Program Teachers work collaboratively with all team members of the program staff and to communicate effectively with parents. The Program Manager will foster a positive team environment for staff, students and parents. Supervision received/exercised:Receives general direction from the Program Manager. Works collaboratively with other staff. Examples of Duties Essential functions:Functions may include, but are not limited to, the following:Establish and promote high standards and expectations for all students for academic performance and responsibility Arrange the classroom to maintain a comfortable learning environment for students.
