Perform care as defined by the client's individual Plan of Care and within the scope of the Virginia Nurse Practice Act Excellent Nursing skills, such as Assessment, IV initiation, Port access, and Electronic Medical Record knowledge, are required Monitor the patient's condition and notify appropriate personnel of any changes Provide those services requiring substantial and specialized nursing skills Ensures proper maintenance of clinical records in compliance with local, state, and federal laws Counsels the client and family in meeting nursing and related needs Requirements Current unrestricted RN license in the state or a multi-state license for which care is being provided Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
