Cardinal Staffing is currently hiring for an Ottawa Co. trusted regional healthcare provider, dedicated to serving the needs of our local community. Currently seeking a Cafeteria Cook. In this role, you will be responsible for the preparation and service of a variety of hot and cold food items . st shift- 4 /10 hour days 6 a-4:30 P OR could be scheduled for 8 a-6:30 pm. Rotating weekends and holidays. Key Responsibilities:- Chop, cook, and assemble a range of food items for breakfast, lunch, and dinner service- Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures are followed- Serve customers in a friendly and efficient manner- Assist with general kitchen cleanup and maintenance tasks. Qualifications:- Previous experience in food preparation or a cafeteria setting is preferred- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights- Strong communication and customer service skills- Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
