Apply now to make a difference by using your experience in caring for individuals with intellectual disabilities!Watch this video to see how you can make a difference at the Ebensburg Center!DESCRIPTION OF WORKIn this position, you will assist with the development of Individual Habilitation and Individual Support Plans for our residents. Under the guidance of a supervisor, you will complete designated portions of assessments with accurate information about each individual's strengths, likes, and needs. You will also assist with support plans by conducting training plans to maximize the delivery of treatment. As a member of the Interdisciplinary Team, you will work with other team members to deliver treatment and training services in the areas of self-care, socialization, and health maintenance as specified in individuals' support plans. Additionally, you will record information in assigned individuals' unit records to document and communicate information to other members of the team.Interested in learning more?   • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 2:45 PM to 11:15 PM, with a 30-minute lunch. The work schedule will rotate as follows: 7 days on then 2 days off and 8 days on then 4 days off.
  • This may change based on operational needs.
  • Overtime is required
  • Travel as needed
  • Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

Required Experience, Training & Eligibility QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
  • Successful completion of the Aide Trainee program (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration);or
  • Six months of paid experience in the care, activities, and personal guidance of individuals with intellectual disabilities.

  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
  • A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
  • This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
    • Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
