Responsibilities

The Area VP of Property Management oversees the operational and financial success of properties in the portfolio. This role leads a team to ensure results through managing financials, maintenance, revenue management, marketing plans, capital improvements, and compliance with laws and policies. The role also involves supporting Regional Property Managers in hiring, developing, and assessing talent to enhance the company's most valuable resource: its people.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a multi-site supervisory role
  • Strong business and financial acumen with understanding of real estate financial concepts and statements
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, property management systems, revenue management systems, and related industry software
  • Leadership, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams to design and improve property management processes
  • Thorough understanding of Landlord/Tenant laws and regulations
  • Ability to travel frequently
  • CPM or CPM candidate preferred
