Salary Range: $50,000-$65,000 Depending on Experience

Job Purpose

As Quality Lead, you will play a key role in ensuring the consistent production of high-quality products across our manufacturing lines. You will lead and develop the Quality Technician team, drive quality standards on the floor and in the lab, and help strengthen our Quality Management System (QMS). This is a highly visible role that partners closely with operations, R&D, and leadership to make sure every product that leaves our facility meets our exacting standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and provide daily direction to a team of Quality Technicians.
• Perform laboratory testing on chemical batches and finished goods during all phases of production.
• Monitor production lines and batch operations to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Maintain and review all quality documentation, ensuring timely and accurate recordkeeping.
• Investigate internal and customer quality issues using root cause analysis and drive corrective/preventive actions (RCFA).
• Conduct internal audits to assess QMS compliance and identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Support new product development through quality review, spec development, and test planning.
• Collaborate with suppliers and lead incoming material inspections to ensure conformance.
• Analyze quality data trends to drive continuous improvement and reduce defects.
• Serve as a key technical resource for the Quality Manager and Technical team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Quality, Engineering, or a related scientific/technical field.
• 3–5 years of experience in a quality, lab, or compliance role within a manufacturing or chemical environment.
• Proven leadership ability and experience working independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency with lab instruments and testing tools (e.g., pH meters, viscometers, density meters).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and committed to maintaining high quality standards.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced production setting.
• Experience with QMS platforms or quality management software is a plus.

Working Conditions

• Full-time, onsite role based in our Martinsburg, WV facility.
• 8-hour shifts, Monday–Friday.
• Occasional overtime and weekend work may be required.
• Requires extended periods of standing or walking in a manufacturing environment.
