The Manufacturing & Supply Chain Manager will oversee all manufacturing and supply chain operations to ensure products are produced efficiently, cost-effectively, and on schedule, while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. The Manufacturing & Supply Chain Manager will lead production, procurement, and inventory teams and work closely with Engineering, Quality, and Senior Management to optimize material flow, drive continuous improvement, and support new product introductions. The ideal candidate has strong experience in supply chain management, procurement strategy, and inventory optimization within a manufacturing environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide daily leadership and operational oversight for manufacturing, procurement, and inventory management teams.
- Plan, source, and manage procurement activities to ensure timely availability of materials and components at competitive costs.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels through accurate forecasting, cycle counts, and demand planning to support production schedules and customer demand.
- Develop and execute strategies to strengthen supplier relationships, mitigate supply chain risks, and drive cost savings.
- Coordinate closely with Engineering to ensure seamless new product introduction and efficient design transfer to production.
- Implement and monitor KPIs related to supply chain and production, including supplier on-time delivery, inventory turns, material cost savings, and production throughput.
- Lead and promote Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives across both supply chain and production functions.
- Ensure accurate and timely data in ERP systems for purchasing, inventory tracking, and production planning (experience with SAP, Oracle, or similar systems ).
- Support compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and other relevant regulatory and quality standards.
- Coach and develop team members across procurement, materials, and manufacturing roles, including performance reviews and training initiatives.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
- Strong background in supply chain operations, including procurement, sourcing, vendor management, and inventory control.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems and supply chain analytics: advanced Excel, Sharepoint, and database skills
- Manufacturing & Supply Chain Manager must have excellent leadership, negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment with shifting priorities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in supply chain, Operations or Business.
- Proficiency with root cause analysis and corrective action methodologies (e.g., 8D, Fishbone, 5 Whys).

Physical Requirements:
Occasional lifting of very lightweight materials, some lightweight lifting, and occasional lifting of average to heavy weight materials of over 30 lbs. Occasional pushing, pulling, reaching, climbing and upper body and arm rotation. Some bending, stooping, and standing. Continuous sitting. Occasional use of hazardous chemicals.
