Job Title: ShipperContract Length: 1 YearOverview:We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Shipper to join our fast-paced, results-driven Shipping Team for a one-year contract opportunity. If you take pride in your work, thrive in a team environment, and have experience with domestic and international shipping, this role is for you!As a Shipper, you'll play a critical role in getting our products to customers quickly, safely, and accurately. You'll handle a wide range of shipping activities-using various shipping software systems, managing international documentation, and collaborating with departments across the company.What You'll Do:* Process domestic and international shipments with accuracy and attention to detail.* Prepare shipping documentation including airway bills, SEDs (Shippers Export Declarations), and SLIs (Shippers Letters of Instruction).* Use shipping software such as UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager, and DHL EasyShip.* Schedule pickups and deliveries with Freight Forwarders and LTL (Less Than Load) Carriers.* Package and ship raw materials and finished goods using various safe and efficient packaging techniques.* Enter shipping data into the system and maintain shipment tracking information.* Operate shipping equipment including barcode scanners, pallet jacks, forklifts, and mail processing machines (Pitney Bowes).* Support internal teams by providing shipment updates and tracking numbers.* Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.* Participate in Lean and Continuous Improvement initiatives.* Perform other duties as assigned.What You Bring:* High school diploma or GED required.* Minimum 2 years of shipping experience (domestic and international).* Experience with customer service or internal service interactions preferred.* Proficiency in shipping software (UPS, FedEx, DHL) and knowledge of export documentation.* Familiarity with AES (Automated Export System) and hazardous materials shipping (e.g., lithium batteries) preferred.* Strong organizational and communication skills-both written and verbal.* Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team setting.* Professional attitude, punctuality, and a keen eye for detail.* Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience using databases is a plus.Why You'll Love Working Here:* Collaborative, team-oriented environment.* Fast-paced and rewarding work with tangible daily results.* Opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement efforts.* Gain hands-on experience in domestic and international logistics.Shift: 1st Shift, M-F 8:00am-5:00pm]After you have applied, download our Staffmark Group WorkNOW App to receive real-time job offers and apply for additional opportunities.
