Base pay range

$25.00/hr - $50.00/hr

We're seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our team. This role bridges the gap between our skilled technicians and valued customers, ensuring every vehicle is serviced with transparency, efficiency, and care.   • Customer Interaction & Intake.
  • Greet customers warmly and listen attentively to their concerns.
  • Document vehicle issues clearly and accurately.
  • Explain recommended services and repairs in simple, understandable terms.
  • Repair Coordination.
  • Communicate effectively with technicians to relay customer concerns.
  • Review diagnostics and ensure accurate repair estimates.
  • Prioritize jobs based on urgency, parts availability, and customer needs.
  • Estimate & Authorization.
  • Prepare detailed service estimates and obtain customer approvals.
  • Ensure compliance with verbal and written authorization procedures.
  • Customer Updates & Follow-Up.
  • Keep customers informed throughout the repair process.
  • Address questions or concerns with professionalism and empathy.
  • Follow up post-service to ensure satisfaction and build long-term trust.
  • Administrative Duties.
  • Maintain accurate records of services, parts, and labor.
  • Process payments and handle warranty documentation.
  • Assist with scheduling, parts ordering, and inventory coordination.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in automotive service advising or related customer service role.
  • Strong understanding of vehicle systems and repair processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts in layman's terms.
  • Proficiency with service management software (e.g., Mitchell, RO Writer, etc.).
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
