American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position on a hospital Observation Unit with night shifts and charge nurse responsibilities.Job Details• Work in a hospital Observation Unit within a medical-surgical setting,• Patient population includes adults with varied medical and surgical needs,• Night shifts from 7:00pm to 7:00am,• Position requires the ability to orient and function as a charge nurse,• 36 hours per week with 12-hour shifts over three days per week,Job Requirements• Active RN license in North Carolina,• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification from AHA or ARC,• Minimum of one year of nursing experience required,• Nursing Diploma, ADN, or ASN from an accredited school of nursing,Additional Information• Responsible for coordinating and delivering patient care utilizing the nursing process,• Expected to participate in patient and family education and discharge planning,• Requires competence in caring for patients with complex medical problems,• Must engage in ongoing education and participate in unit goals and performance improvement,• Must promptly report to the lab for drug screening within 24 hours of commit,],• hash,:• 120#######385#######,
