Job Summary: The Regional Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of the maintenance department to ensure environmental center compliance in accordance with Federal, State, and Local ordinances, regulations, and building codes. Ensures the center is maintained in a sanitary, attractive, and orderly condition; in good repair, free from hazards such as those caused by electrical, plumbing, ventilation, heating, and cooling systems. Also responsible for providing quality laundry service.

Pay: Based on experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise all Environmental Services personnel and daily work across the center, ensuring effective, efficient service while managing budgets, staffing, and interdepartmental issues. Maintain records of accounts payable, supplies, equipment maintenance, and other department activities.
  • Implement and record the preventive maintenance program to maintain the physical condition of the center at the highest level.
  • Create and maintain documentation of all maintenance activities, including parts and materials used, and keep records of fuel supply.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs according to regulations and codes.
  • Coordinate with residents, staff, and healthcare professionals regarding environmental and infection prevention requests, providing timely follow-up and consulting on best practices.
  • Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma.
  • One to two years of supervisory experience in a commercial setting with knowledge of laundry, housekeeping, and maintenance procedures.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in long-term care preferred.
  • HVAC and maintenance experience required.
  • Healthcare experience is preferred but can be trained.
