Job Title: Office Clerk (Contract) Location: Kettleman City, CA Pay Rate: Up to $21/hour Employment Type: Contract About the Role: LHH is seeking an organized Office Clerk to support a busy maintenance equipment shop. This is a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment where your clerical skills will help keep operations running smoothly. Key Responsibilities:
  • Open, sort, and distribute mail
  • Answer phones, take messages, and provide information
  • Operate office equipment and maintain supply inventories
  • Organize and manage files, records, and libraries
  • Verify data for compliance with regulations and procedures
  • Enter purchase orders and reconcile invoices
  • Use spreadsheets, databases, or word processing software to organize information
  • Suggest improvements to methods and procedures
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 1-3 years of clerical experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
  • Comfortable using computers and office software
Work Environment:
  • Office setting
