Job Title: Administrative Assistant Location: Stamford, CT 06905Employment Type: Full-Time (Monday to Friday) Join The Pinnacle School, a private special education day school for grades 2-12, as a full-time Social Emotional Coach 1:1 supporting students with diverse learning needs. The Pinnacle School supports students with complex learning needs through small classes, tailored instruction, and strong relationships. Your Role as an Administrative Assistant
  • Administrative Support - Experienced in delivering efficient administrative support in fast-paced school settings.
  • Professionalism & Interpersonal Skills - Welcoming demeanor with strong interpersonal skills for engaging staff, students, and families.
  • Organization & Task Management - Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adept at multitasking independently.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, PowerSchool, CT-SEDS, Concur, and other school platforms.
  • Leadership Support - Supports Head of School and Director of Education with scheduling, communication, record-keeping, and special projects.
  • Calendar & Communication Coordination - Manages school-wide calendars, group communications, and PPT scheduling.
  • Special Education Compliance - Knowledgeable in IEP processes and special education documentation requirements.
  • Records Management - Maintains accurate student and staff records, including attendance and compliance.
  • Facilities & IT Coordination - Liaises with facilities and IT teams for maintenance, tech needs, and emergency drills.
  • Procurement & Budgeting - Oversees purchasing, inventory, and vendor communication; tracks expenses and orders.
  • Office Operations - Provides front desk coverage, general office support, and ensures organized shared spaces.
  • Data & Reporting - Supports data collection and reporting for internal use and state compliance.
  • Team Collaboration - Flexible and proactive team player supporting daily school operations.
