\nAs a Student Respiratory Care Assistant, you'll support the Respiratory Therapy team and gain valuable exposure to clinical workflows and equipment handling. Under the direction of licensed respiratory therapists, your responsibilities will include:
\nAssembling, transporting, disinfecting, and troubleshooting respiratory equipment.
\nManaging oxygen supplies and delivering home care respiratory equipment.
\nSupporting bronchoscopy and intubation procedures.
\nAssisting with setup and documentation of 4-channel sleep studies.
\nPerforming smoking cessation counseling per department policy.
\nMaintaining respiratory equipment inventory and assisting in calibration and preventive maintenance.
\nUsing electronic systems for ordering, documentation, and reporting.

\nCurrent enrollment in a CoARC-accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
\nAbility to lift up to 30 pounds and handle equipment up to 100 pounds.
\nBasic Life Support (BLS) certification.
\nAct 34 clearance required upon hire.
