Job DescriptionJob DescriptionProcurement Specialist | Mission, KSLHH is partnering with a client that is seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Procurement Specialist to join the dynamic team in the manufacturing sector. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials and services essential to our production operations. Your ability to build strong supplier relationships and ensure cost-effective procurement will directly impact our efficiency and bottom line.Responsibilities:
- Source and evaluate suppliers to ensure quality, cost, and delivery standards are met.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production to forecast demand.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
- Collaborate with internal departments to understand material needs and timelines.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. (Preferred)
- 3-5+ years of experience in procurement, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of supply chain and inventory management principles.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
