Position DescriptionPosition Summary
New River Electrical is looking for a qualified Sourcing Analyst with a desire to work in the construction industry.
As a Sourcing Analyst, you will be responsible for procuring material & equipment, supporting both the company and the company's clients from simple to complex business deals. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams, make strategic decisions and implement best practices within our procurement function. This is a full-time position and reports to the Procurement Manager.
Duties/Responsibilities
Assesses business requirements, and supports procurement plans accordingly.Executes sourcing strategies based on procurement manager guidance and leading practices.Prepare, organize, and maintain electronic purchasing records and data monitoring performance and compliance Leverages market, supplier, and spend analyses to inform category strategies and competitive solicitations (e.g. RFXs).Including developing requests for quotes, establishing pricing, delivery, terms and conditions, managing supplier risk and developing mitigation plans Develop negotiating strategy and lead negotiations.Writes the summary and details for basic to moderately complex contracts, including pricing, business requirements, performance criteria, terms and conditions, and any risk mitigations.Establishes effective relationships with business partners and suppliers to support category strategies.Coordinates with key suppliers and business partners on the delivery of high-value manufactured equipment and materials, including any transportation and storage requirements.Leverages contract knowledge to mitigate risks and maximize contract value.Other Duties

Position RequirementsQualifications/Experience
Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, supply chain, or other related field and 2-4 years of relevant work experience.Excellent negotiation and communication skills, Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify potential risks and devise effective solutions.The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Proficiency in ERP software and Microsoft Office Suite.A proactive approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Congruent to any experience required above, 3 years of relevant customer service and/or procurement experience is a plus. Experience within the electrical/construction industry is preferred, but not not required.Physical Demands
