POSITION SUMMARY

The Corporate Development Manager will play a critical role in identifying, evaluating and executing strategic growth opportunities, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), strategic partnerships, investments and corporate strategy initiatives. This individual will work closely with AGS leadership to drive the end-to-end deal lifecycle from pipeline development and sourcing through due diligence, valuation, deal execution and post-merger integration planning.

This role is ideal for a self-starter with strong financial acumen, strategic thinking and analytical skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about shaping the future of healthcare and technology.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. M&A Strategy & Pipeline Development (30%)

  • Proactively identify and evaluate potential acquisition or investment targets that align with AGS' strategic growth objectives
  • Support leadership in the development of long-term inorganic growth strategy, including TAM sizing, market trends and competitor analysis
  • Maintain a target database and support relationship building with external companies, bankers and advisors

2. Deal Evaluation & Execution (40%)

  • Build detailed financial models and valuation analyses (DCF, LBO, accretion/dilution, comparable)
  • Lead the creation of investment memos and board presentations
  • Manage due diligence processes across functions, including Legal, Finance, HR, Technology and Operations
  • Coordinate with external advisors and internal stakeholders to drive execution of LOIs and definitive agreements

3. Post-Merger Integration & Strategic Projects (20%)

  • Partner with cross-functional leaders to plan and support post-merger integration and synergy realization
  • Track KPIs and strategic outcomes from closed transactions
  • Lead or support key strategic initiatives such as strategic partnerships, business unit expansion or new market entries

4. Executive Reporting & Stakeholder Communication (10%)

  • Provide regular updates to executive leadership and the Board on corporate development pipeline and performance
  • Support quarterly strategic reviews and board meetings with insights and recommendations

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development/strategy or strategy consulting
  • Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end M&A transactions or strategic deals
  • Exceptional financial modeling, valuation and analytical skills
  • Track record of working cross-functionally in large global organizations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with experience developing executive-level presentations
