Performs periodic tours of all hospital buildings and grounds. Visually checks for safety and fire hazards. - De-escalate tense, dynamic, and rapidly evolving situations - Ensures individuals entering the facility are properly screened. - Enforces hospital regulations and policies designed to prevent theft and unauthorized access. - Conducts safety checks and tests as required by State and Federal laws for a hospital. - Patrols parking areas periodically, leaving warning notices on automobiles in violation of parking regulations. Checks fire and emergency lanes to insure they are clear at all times. - Supports the Deaconess Health Police Department objectives for creating a safe environment. - Directs visitors and answers questions relative to location of services. - Responds to fire emergency calls, assists police, fire, and emergency management teams - Provides parking lot assistance to staff and guests. - Supports hospital departmental policies, procedures and mission statements. - ...Security Officer, Security, Officer, Healthcare, Hospital
