The primary result expected from Machine Operator position is to operate rotational molding machines as designated under the supervision and direction of operations leadership. The Machine Operator will monitor the quality of the plastics parts after they are demolded to ensure the parts are to quality standards. Operates rotational molding machine to meet or exceed plant metrics related to Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Morale/ Inventory. Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor. Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations. Safely works at a pace that meets company expectations e.g., parts per hour or minutes per part as quoted to customer. Accepts and receives frequent supervision and assistance regarding machine set-up. Able to work independently, be a self-starter, and meet deadlines.
