Ensures direct, clear communication with Neurologists for reporting critically abnormal studies, requesting clinical assistance and relaying any patient care concerns Proactively manages EMG/ EEG clinical schedule to ensure timely patient access and physician presence during testing procedures Ensures appropriate referrals and authorizations are obtained and eligibility is verified at least two (2) clinical days prior to testing Maintains EEG/ EMG equipment, prepares patients for procedures and records patients' electric potentials Ensures compliance with all state and federal regulations and evidence-based practice guidelines and adheres to policies and procedures Youll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.
