As the Packaging Engineer you will design and develop returnable and expendable packaging for individual piece parts and bulk shipping to ensure the timely and efficient receipt and delivery of material. Proper packaging design includes part containment, protection, and optimization of transportation and other supply chain functions. Additional Info:This position requires the candidate to work a 5 day-a-week schedule in the South Milwaukee, WI St. Francis Warehouse. Relocation Offered: None. Sponsorship Offered: None. Travel: Up to 5% (Domestic)What You Will Do: Establish packaging and processing specifications at the part number level for new product introductions, cost savings, or other supply chain improvements. Collaborate with all support groups including but not limited to Supply Chain, Operations, Quality, Purchasing, and Engineering. Lead packaging projects focused on cost reduction for inbound and outbound.
