The incumbent supports user desktop infrastructure and application needs. He/she performs activities involving desktop hardware, software and other peripheral devices. Knowledge Skills and Abilities Knowledge of desktop operations practices, procedures and te 3 chniques. Knowledge of multi-programing computer operating techniques. Knowledge of job control language and utilities. Knowledge of MAC computers. Knowledge of computer peripheral equipment operations. Good communication skills, verbal, written and interpersonal. Ability to communicate technical information effectively to technical and non-technical individuals. Ability to operate a multi-programming digital electronic computer. Ability to train a small technical staff. Ability to plan, schedule, direct, oversee and evaluate the work of a small technical staff.
