Further develop and maintain a detailed understanding of electric power systems and how to protect, monitor, and control the power system .. Assist in developing product specifications, develop and analyze functional tests .. Assist with application literature, instruction manuals, and data sheets .. Provide power engineering support for customer applications and Field Application Engineers .. Assist in writing and reviewing innovative power system protection solutions to present at technical meetings and conferences. Required Qualifications. B. S. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience. Typically 5 years experience in electric power systems, protection practices, and philosophies. Excellent technical training skills. Working knowledge of apparatus and protective relay application at an electrical utility, industrial plant. Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills.
