Travis County Juvenile Probation Department (TCJPD) is seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented HR professional to join our recruiting team. This position, working under moderate supervision, plays an essential role by supporting recruitment, hiring, and onboarding processes for the department. Reviews hiring documents, tracks progress, and coordinates with internal customers and job candidates to resolve outstanding items. Processes criminal background checks and pre-employment medical screenings using secure vendor portals. Assists with management of job postings, candidate communication, and application workflows in the applicant tracking system. Archives personnel records related to hiring in compliance with retention and confidentiality standards. Supports recruitment outreach through job fairs and related events.
