Slitter Operator
: Job Details :

Slits printed rolls from the press or Extruder to individual rolls as per customer specifications. Material being slit is inspected for quality/defects and finished rolls are palletized for shipment to the customer. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reads job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements. Sets up machine. Uses lowboy to mount full rolls onto machine. Observes machine operation to detect material defects or machine malfunction. Measures material dimensions to determine accuracy of machine operation. Performs minor machine maintenance such as oiling/greasing machines and changing female knives. Prepares required paperwork, including daily production reports, SPC charting, roll tickets and inventory tags. Completes work orders when necessary. Actively participates in safety programs and makes safety observations. Follows plant safety rules. Other duties as assigned. Requirements QUALIFICA...Operator, Manufacturing
